What version of LabVIEW is required to run the program? LabVIEW is not required because the GUI-M3 is a turnkey application. The GUI-M3 installer includes all support files (such as the appropriate LabVIEW runtime engine). Also, the installer places a shortcut to the GUI-M3 in the start menu.
Agilent's 34970A is a 3-slot mainframe. Will the GUI-34970A work with any combination of plug-in modules? To ensure ease of use, the GUI-M3 is purpose-designed for a specific configuration of modules. Contact 24plug for a variation of the GUI-M3 that is purpose-designed for your requirements.
Agilent's 34901A plug-in module is capable of 6.5 digits. Why does the illustration on this webpage show only 5.5 digits? Part of 24plug's turnkey approach to the GUI-M3 is the easy-to-use GUI-M3.ini. The user configures the GUI-M3.ini with the desired parameters. GUI-M3 - GUI Executable for Agilent™ 34970A DAQ/Switch Unit
24plug’s GUI-M3 provides a PC-based GUI for a subset of the features available on Agilent’s 34970A DAQ/Switch unit. Additionally, the GUI-M3 saves channel values to IEEE-754 binary single files. Data-Export (available separately) will convert portions of the IEEE-754 files to ASCII files.
The GUI-M3 synchronizes the 34970A with the PC clock.
The inifile for the GUI-M3 provides a convenient method to set the configuration, range, resolution, transducer, and thermocouple for each channel. The installer for the GUI-M3 provides a convenient method to install the main executable and several support files.
